A 1960s Dutch Colonial Renovation
House of Huck’s recent renovation in Ridgefield, CT, was all about transforming a quirky 1960s layout into a functional and stylish space. The original design featured a huge, oversized powder room and a tiny laundry closet that just didn’t make sense.
To improve the flow and functionality, we opened up some walls and closed others, reimagining the space to better suit modern living.
Without a traditional pantry, we created a long pantry wall that maximizes storage while maintaining the home’s open feel. The result is a home that blends mid-century charm with contemporary convenience, making it both beautiful and practical.
